last series of sketches
This project has required me to provide quick sketches before moving on to more finished work. In fact, the sketches take more time than any other stage because it takes time to flush out the elements.
My author has some very steady concepts throughout the book which correspond not only to my drawing style but to my nature as well. I am so proud to be able to work with her.
The hurdles are balancing my time. This the #1 busiest time of my life– EVER. I am just barely keeping my head above water. I think it is going to be ok though.
(I have an important appointment tomorrow that may just influence everything and set off a process that could destroy everything I have built over the last two years. Nerve racking.)
Hopefully by the end of the week this latest project will be just about wrapped up and I can take a breather and maybe even celebrate all that I have achieved before moving onto the next project.
