Is not slipping on a banana peel funny?
Well this one was a lot of fun to draw up. It is for an article on French comedy. I have one or two more to do. I am trying to come up with some classic comedy scenes: slipping on a banana peel, pie in the face and maybe a fat lady on a bench that catupults a tiny man. Ripped pants when bending down. Bucket of water on the head… I am still thinking of what are the more common scenes. Any ideas out there?
While I was doing this the face of the man was completely different. He was balding and looked a little aggressive or snooty. At one point, when I changed his face to make him kind of sweet and innocent looking the scene suddenly became a lot funnier.
If I can give the other comedy scenes like this the same kind of twist I will consider the series a success.
