Should I say something?
I tried to cut the details down to the bear minimum to get my point across. I like the graphic sparse look but I am not sure about the yellow. I have to admit the Simpsons were kind of on my brain when I choose that color. Kind of a new look for me and one that would be interesting to pursue.
This was for an interesting essay by a woman who questions the line between tolerance and a lazy, yellow-bellied laissez-faire attitude. (My words not hers.) She explains that whether we like it or not our teenagers live in a culture with drugs, sex and alcohol. Even if your son or daughter doesn’t actively participate in any of those things he or she is still a part of that world by the mere act of having to reject that choice to begin with. So ‘when do you speak out and when do you keep to yourself?’, is a question that needs to be addressed in every family.
