Left or right? Which one is more appealing? Moon faces have always left me ill at ease which really doesn’t explain me drawing one to add to the many ones out there already. I guess it boils down to me trying to harnass one my own hand. So this is what I came up with but dont know if one is better or if there is any significant difference. The one on the right looks the creepiest to me and the one on the left looks the kindest…hmmm… They will be widdled down to a tiny thumbnail detail on a astrology calendar.
To get this done, I refered to a book on the Renaissance. I became absorbed at how they were so obviously excited about optics, astrology, astronomy and making sense of the world through religion, philosophy, ideas…
Astrology is new to me. I have come to believe that it is just another way to make sense of the world. I don’t see myself getting into it but then I don’t see myself becoming involved in philosophical circles either or religious, artistic, gardening either…. it is just a reference point at the end of the day. What is my reference point? Good question.
