2009 salmon

I am working on this drawing for my new years cards. not sure where i am going to go with it r why a fish for the new year but i like the greasiness of the fish.

getting it spot on– an illustrator laments

Let’s face the facts…The intent of the drawing is there but not spot on yet. The face of the guy is not right. I have to rework it and also the tail might be better a tiny bit away practically touching his ear but not touching. Also not sure about the quote. This is just an exercise to start working and it seems to be working. I am being super productive the last two or three days.
